The 2022 edition of the Nike Air Max 97 OG 'Silver Bullet' brings back the iconic colorway of the first running shoe built with a visible full-length Nike Air unit. The distinctive upper features a metallic silver finish inspired by mountain bike aluminum and titanium components. Atop the breathable mesh base, wavy overlays replicate radiating lines caused by a water droplet hitting the surface of a pond. A crimson Swoosh is embroidered on the tongue and quarter panel, adding color-popped accents to the polished exterior. Inspired by Japan's bullet trains, this 1990s silhouette returns with its revolutionary full-length Air tooling. A white midsole atop a black rubber outsole completes the design.
